Mad Square Story
The story of Mad Square begins four years after the events of the first part, where Ganesh aka Laddu is in jail. Six students come to meet him and ask why he is in jail. Laddu tells them the story of three months ago. DD is contesting for the Sarpanch elections, Ashok is fighting a legal battle for his property, and Manoj is working as a bartender after a breakup. Laddu’s wedding is fixed but his fiancée Pooja runs away. Dejected, Laddoo tries to commit suicide but Ashok stops him and the five friends go on a vacation to Goa.
In Goa, Laddoo finds a new girlfriend but a gangster named Max kidnaps them all. He holds them responsible for a stolen necklace and gives them two days to return it. They search for the necklace and reach Laila, who finally returns it. Meanwhile, the DGP learns that the CBI has come to Goa. The twist in the story comes when it is revealed that Ashok is an undercover CBI officer. He gets Max arrested.
Eventually Laddoo ends up in jail under the “Witness Protection Scheme” because Max’s brother-in-law attacked his house. When he asks Ashok for help, he finds out that he forgot to get Laddoo out of jail.
The film is full of friendship, humour, twists and a light-hearted entertainer.
Movie Review
Mad Square is a light-hearted comedy that offers a good entertainment experience to the audience. The film is a fun option for those who want to watch a time-pass movie without any big expectations. The story of the film is straight from the heart, and there is a good mix of humor and friendship in it.
The film starts off quite funny. The events in the first half, especially those related to Laddoo’s wedding, are full of laughter. Vishnu Oi and Sangeeth Shobhan’s comic timing is very impressive and makes the audience laugh many times. Songs like “Swati Reddy” are full of energy and add life to the atmosphere of the film.
However, the second half of the film is relatively weak. The crime-plot taking place in Goa is not that smooth and many scenes do not seem to connect with each other. The effort made to highlight Ashok’s character towards the end does not seem natural. However, Sunil’s gangster character and some humorous scenes in between do not let the story become boring.
The climax of the film is based on friendship, which leaves a decent emotional impact. And the hint of Mad 3 at the end makes the audience curious about what the next part will be like.
According to Rajesh Babu M, the strongest link of the film is its cast – Narne Nithiin, Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithiin, Vishnu Ooi and Muralidhar Goud all have given brilliant performances. There are many moments in the film that make you laugh, but the lack of a strong story and the imbalance of humor, especially in the second half, prevent the film from becoming a memorable experience.
Overall, Mad Square is an average but entertaining film. It can definitely be watched once with friends. The film is not great, but it is not bad either. If you do not go with high expectations, then this film will definitely give you a good entertainer.

Conclusion
Mad Square is a light-hearted entertainer that is especially suitable for youth and friends to watch. The comedy of the film and the performance of the cast entertain the audience well, especially in the first half. Though the second half of the story seems a bit unbalanced, some interesting scenes and characters keep the film from getting boring. The story does lack depth, but if you don’t go in with high expectations, this film can prove to be a good time-pass option. It is a one time watch entertainer which gives a good message of laughter and friendship.
